Anna Sagan

Anna Sagan is an Arkansas-born, Los Angeles–based artist working primarily in painting. Her practice moves between original works and commissioned pieces, each one built up slowly through layers of color and material.

Drawn to texture and the way a surface holds light, she treats every canvas as a record of decisions made in real time — an exploration of color, material, and the quiet beauty of making sense of things as we go.

She works closely with collectors on commissions, translating a space, a feeling, or a moment into a piece made to live with for years.
